This policy explains how the Chrome extension ShalaDarpan Weekly Timetable Helper handles information. The extension fills the class 9 to 12 weekly smart-class timetable on Shala Darpan after you sign in yourself.
The extension is developed by Ankit Chaudhary BCI and published for use with rajshaladarpan.rajasthan.gov.in. Questions about this policy can be sent through rajschools.org/contact.php.
You prepare Monday to Friday, eight periods a day, in the extension. You type your own password and captcha on the Shala Darpan login page. After you are signed in, the extension selects the week, sets the status to Prepared, and fills each school day from the plan you made.
It can also search unfilled weeks up to the current week, keep the same chapters or move one chapter ahead, mark 18 May to 29 June as No Class, and save a one-page PDF of a filled week in your Downloads folder.
The extension handles website content from the weekly timetable: class, section, subject, chapter, week, day, and period. It also keeps the fill progress for the current run.
That information is stored on your device with chrome.storage.local. It is used only to show your plan in the extension and to fill the timetable on Shala Darpan. It is not sent to rajschools.org and it is not sent to a server run by the developer.
The week plan, chapter list, and fill progress remain in Chrome storage on your device until you change them, remove the extension, or clear the extension’s data.
When a week is filled, a PDF is saved on your computer in the Downloads folder, inside a folder named shaladarpan smart class timetable. The file name is the week’s date range. That file is not uploaded by the extension.
The timetable you save is submitted only to Shala Darpan, through the school website’s own save action, in the account you signed into.
https://rajshaladarpan.rajasthan.gov.in/* only. The extension checks which of SD1 to SD5 is available, opens that login page, and fills the weekly timetable. It does not run on other websites. All extension code is included in the package you install from the Chrome Web Store. The extension does not download or run JavaScript from a remote server. A local file runs on the Shala Darpan page so it can use that site’s existing form postback after you have signed in.
The developer does not sell this information, does not share it with advertisers or data brokers, and does not use it for credit, lending, or any purpose other than filling your weekly timetable.
Shala Darpan is a separate government website. Its own privacy practices apply to the school account you use there.
The extension is a tool for filling a school timetable. It does not ask for a child’s name or other personal details, and it is not directed at collecting information from children.
If this policy changes, the new text will be posted on this page with a new “Last updated” date.
